If you are traveling to Amsterdam and are on a budget this place is definitely worth looking into.
The camping is regarded as one of the best city campings around and you will most probably experience for your self that this is for a reason. The place is being looked after and things are well organized.
If you do not want to pitch a tent then book one the cabins that are available. Also campers can be parked at the camping.
Although not located near the center, but in a rather isolated spot, you can still get to the city center in about 20 to 30 minutes by public transport (tram cards are sold on camping). You could also rent a bike, as they are rented out by the management.
If possible make reservations (can be done online). As during the tourist seasons places fill up quickly.
