Like many other places in this area De Cantine is located in a monumental building. In the old days the building was used to isolate (quarantine) people with strange diseases that they brought from overseas.
Nowadays the the building houses a modern cafe/restaurant which has a nice atmosphere. If it is warm enough a large terrace is set up and you can enjoy the sun.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available for decent prices. The menu is basic/traditional but influenced by modern and foreign foods.
In the back of the place there is an exposition room.
