Vondelpark open air theater

The open air theater goes back all the way to the seventies. In that time so called 'happenings' were given in the theater and they still are given today, although named differently.

During the three summer months there are all kinds of performances, ranging from jazz, dance, cabaret, classical, comedy to children's theater.

During summer (June, July and August) shows are given 5 days a week (wed - sun). Check out the program at the website for accurate information.

Entrance is free, but be early as the place fills up rather quickly. If you're not sure about the weather, take an umbrella.
